FAQ

1.)   What is the minimum order for custom caps?
       Answer: The minimum orders for custom caps are 360 pieces per style and color of a cap.
 
2)   What is the minimum order for blank caps?
      Answer: You may order any quantity needed, you may order 1pc or anything above.
 
3)   What is the minimum on domestic contract embroidery?
Answer: 24pcs per style is the minimum for contract embroidery on headwear.
     
4)  What do I need in order to have a sample made?
Answer: To have a custom sample made, we would need your logo in Vector format (AI or EPS file).  Once we receive your artwork, we can have our art department create a virtual of the hat with your logo. Once the virtual is approved, an actual sample will be created.
 
5)   How long does the actual sample process take?
Answer: Once we receive the proper artwork the virtual takes about 24hrs to create. Once we receive the final approval on the virtual and we move onto the actual sample process this will take anywhere from 7-10 days depending on the detail and process set for this sample. If we were doing these domestically the actual sample will take about a day.
          
6)   What if I wanted to skip the sample process?
Answer: All custom orders either domestic or overseas require a actual product proof for final review and approval. This will ensure both parties that everything is satisfactory with the product prior to full production.
 
7)   How long is standard production on domestic embroidery?
Answer: Once the final sample has been approved depending on the quantity of your order standard production is anywhere from one to two weeks. If your order contains a larger quantity then production may vary depending on the season and capacity level of our embroiderer.
 
8)   How long is standard production on overseas embroidery?
Answer: Once the final sample has been approved standard production is four to five weeks. Ocean transit from overseas to our LA warehouse is anywhere from 2 ½ weeks to 3 weeks. Please allow additional time should US Customs need extra time to review any documents on the container.
 
9)   Do you offer any faster service such as air express or any other expedited express service from overseas?
Answer: Yes we do, we offer air cargo service direct from Hong Kong to JFK airport in New York. The additional charge for air service would depend on the item being imported. You would need to speak with your account manager at the time of order to check the current prices on this service as the prices to fluctuate depending on the time of ear and the current fuel charges at that time. In addition to air cargo we also offer UPS direct service from Hong Kong to your customer’s location or a location of your choice globally. Please speak with your account manager on current prices when placing your order.
 
10)   When my order arrives do you drop ship them for me?
Answer: Yes, your order will arrive to our secure warehouse owned and operated by Continental Cap and drop shipped blind to a destination of your choice. Please note UPS charges will be additional to the final destination.
 
11)  Do you offer any fulfillment or special packing per my request?
Answer: Yes, being we own and operate all locations we do offer special packing and fulfillment. Any special packing or carton markings should be clearly indicated to your account manager upon        purchase so we may custom make everything prior to the order arriving.
 
12)  Are there any carton markings are any indication my order was produced and or manufactured by Continental Cap?
Answer: No, we do not promote or advertise our company. On overseas orders you have the option of special carton markings and packing. When the order has arrived to the warehouse we use private labels with your return address. There will be internal markings on the box for our own purpose to locate the files needed to resend this order to its final destination. On domestic or blank orders special carton markings may not be available as these are pre packed and ready to ship same day.
 
13)  Do you offer private labeling?
Answer: For our overseas program we can either supply you with custom labels (additional charges will apply) or you may send us your own labels and or hang tags to apply to the caps. Our blank             caps are not labeled with any additional information other than the country of origin. Please note we do have Continental Cap private labels in our exclusive caps

14)  How do I contact my Account Manager or know who he or she is?
Answer: All of our account managers are assigned accounts geographically, you may reach us on our toll free number and you will be directed to your account manager depending on which State    you are calling from. Each member in our office is fully trained to answer all and any questions you may have should your account manager not be readily available at the time of your call.
